Cellular Jail: The Jail now declared a national memorial, is a place of pilgrimage for all freedom loving people, it  also has a museum and an Art Gallery Ph-230117

Light & Sound Show: The saga of the heroic freedom struggle is brought alive in a moving Sound and Light at Cellular Jail ph-233383

Gandhi Park: An amusement park for children with water sport facilities, All days  

Anthropological Museum: The museum depict the life of the four Negrito and two Mangoloid  Tribes of these Islands. Ph-232291

Timing: 9.30 am to 1.00pm and 1.30pm to 4.30pm, closed on Thursday and holidays, Entry fee  :Rs.10/-  

Forest Museum: The museum displays decorative pieces made of various type of timber found in these islands.

Timing  : 6.30am to  3.00 pm closed on Sunday and holidays.

Entry fee: Rs.2/-

Fisheries Museum: The museum displays species of marine life found in the water of these islands Ph-231848

Timing : 9am to 1.00 pm and 2.00pm to 4.45pm, closed on Wednesday and holidays, Entry Fee: Rs.5/-  

Zoological Survey of India Museum: The museum exhibits variety of sponges, Corals, butterflies, centipedes etc, found in these islands. Ph-233148

Timing :9am to 12.30 pm and 1.30pm to 5.00pm, closed on Sunday and holidays.

Chatham Saw Mill: One of the oldest and largest mill in Asia, built on a tiny island is connected to Port Blair by a bridge.  It is a store- house of timber like Padauk, Gurjan, Marble etc. Ph-232778

Samudrika :A Naval Marine Museum displays corals, fishes found in these islands. Ph-232871

Timing :  9.00am to 5.30pm, closed on Monday  and holidays. Entry fee : Rs.10/-

Mini Zoo: Zoo houses some of the rare species of endemic birds and animals found in these Islands. Ph-232816

Corbyn’s Cove: 7 kms from the town, is the coconut palm fringed beach ideal for swimming.  

Harbour Cruise :Harbour cruise provides a panoramic view from the sea of Harbour, Chatham island, Viper Island etc.

Timing: Boat from Aberdeen jetty at 3.00pm daily.

Entry fee: Rs.5/- Boat : Rs.60/-  

Ross Island: Once the seat of British power and capital of these islands, it stands now as ruin of the bygone days:

Timing : Boat from Aberdeen jetty at 8.30am, 10.30am and 12.30pm expect Wednesday. Entry fee: Rs.20/- Boat : Rs.60/-  

Mount Harriet : 55kms by road /15kms by ferry and road from Port Blair, it is an ideal place for a nice and fascinating view of the sun, sea, sand and for trekking. Entry fee: Rs.25/-  

Chidiyatapu: About 26kms from Port Blair, situated at the southern most tip of South Andaman.  The lush green mangroves and the beach make it an ideal picnic site.  The place also offers fabulous view of sunset.  

Jolly Buoy/ Red Skin : These Island in the Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park offers breathtaking  underwater view of coral and marine life. It is an ideal place for snorkeling and sea bathing.

North Bay: Nearest place to view corals and marine life at the foothills of Mount Harriet. Private boats are available  from Aberdeen Jetty.  

 

Outside Port Blair  

Havelock: 54 kms from Port Blair, this island offers beautiful sandy beaches and lush green forest.  The island is connected daily by boat from Port Blair.  

Rangat :170 kms by road from Port Blair, provides an ideal heaven for eco-friendly  tourist seeking the lap of sun, sea and fun. The land route from Port Blair involves crossing of creeks and dense tropical rain forest. Cutbert bay beach is nearby which is a turtle  nesting ground.  
Mayabunder : 70 kms by road from Rangat, provides serene holiday in an unpolluted environment and great scenic beauty. Avis islands just opposite can be reached by motorized boat.  Karmatang beach is about 12kms from Mayabunder.  

Diglipur :290kms by road and sea from Port Blair.  There are many islands and beaches around.  The island is connected by road and sea from Port Blair.

Little Andaman: 120 kms by sea from Port Blair. This island south  of Port Blair  has water fall in midst of evergreen rain forest, Butler Bay beach etc.  
Indira Point: Southernmost point of the country is located in Great Nicobar islands about 545 km from Port Blair.
